...It’s the year 2248

After centuries of climate change, rising oceans and the displacement of billions of refugees, the world’s largest corporations have banded together to create a city, which floats in the sky.  

Originally intended as a home for the country-less refugees of the world, after two decades the city has become a playground for the rich and well-connected,  marginalizing the refugee population as a cheap labor workforce.

However, one of these refugees rises to become chief engineer of the city and is now world renowned as a champion of human rights. 

When our story begins, Haya is preparing for the 20th anniversary celebrations as well as an important vote on a political initiative proposing many more floating cities around the globe. But an unexpected tragedy revolving around our chief engineer, Adrien Rousseau, mars the events, sending the city into chaos.

Our series follows a group of multi-ethnic citizens - each episode centering around a different main character - as we move from episode to episode, tracing the steps the engineer, Rousseau, took to uncover a deep-seeded conspiracy, which goes back to the origins of the city...

...and the secret behind worldwide climate change.
